We work with several organizations throughout the city of Memphis, BWABC, Literacy Mid-South, Hollywood Community Center and the City of Memphis just to name a few. On national levels we are connected with National Literacy and ProLiteracy.org.
We welcome you to come out and volunteer to serve with us as we grow our community of learners.
LITERACY LIGHTHOUSE CHILDREN'S CORNER
Literacy Lighthouse has the best tutors and they are concerned about your child's learning habits and how to promote their interest in learning.
We work as a team to find the most innovative ways of learning for each child.

We work with interactive learning tools on the internet such as Education.com, RAZ kids, and MathWorkSheetsLand.com for teaching our learners.
Literacy Lighthouse is a literary organization, we light the way by increasing educational opportunities for the families that we serve. Some learners have difficulty learning due to minute distractions and become unable to focus on the topics at hand.
From construction outside to the pencil tapping on the desk, it can become difficult to learn when the learner cannot focus. We help the learner to better understand how comprehension works and how they can better benefit from learning.
We tutor one on one for increasing comprehension skills; we teach basic skills to learners in order for them to increase reading performance and understanding.
